Blair and Chantelle

I've known Blair for over ten years and see him weekly at our 'highly skilled' hockey game, he's an excellent defenseman, constant comedian, true gentleman, and I'm sure will be a great husband to Chantelle.  His beautiful wife Chantelle was an absolute pleasure to work with, shoot, and simply get to know better.  The best part of this 'job' is the chance to get to know friends better and make new ones.  You both made my job easy and an absolute pleasure.  Thank you.

Todd & Marlo

I was honored to be asked to document Todd & Marlo's wedding in March of this year to start my wedding season! They're a beautiful couple with a couple of beautiful daughters to help them celebrate the day...and days to come.  The weather gave everyone involved a nice little scare as a serious March blast was forecast.  In the end we got a nice dusting the night before so that everything looked crisp and white for the bright and sunny afternoon.

Everyone at Strawberry Hill were enthusiastic about creating a perfect atmosphere for the celebrations and did so with a smile on their face.

Welcome to the blog!  Thanks for stopping by.  My Name is Peter MacDonald and I'm a photographer based out of Corner Brook Newfoundland.

Here are some highlights of weddings I've shot in the past.  Some are my favorite photos, and some are favorites of the couples featured here.  Hopefully they all show how I approach shooting a wedding.

My goal is to capture real moments as they happen without being intrusive in any way.  I believe that these special moments, filled with authentic emotion, will say so much to those who ultimately view them.  They'll help bring all those involved right back to the way they felt on a very special day.  I simply love documenting love!

A good friend of mine, who designed a website and lapel buttons for my wedding, came up with a slogan for us and I can't say it any better...
